Tonia Couch wins first individual World Series medal
Plymouth's Tonia Couch has won a bronze medal in the Diving World Series event in Guadalajara, Mexico, the first individual medal for a British woman.
The 24-year-old was lying fourth in the final round of the 10m platform into her final dive. She produced a high quality dive, receiving scores of nines and a 10 from the judges to finish in third place.
The medal follows Couch's silver with Sarah Barrow in the 10m synchro, the pair's second in consecutive events.
The British team, including local stars Couch, Barrow and Tom Daley, who has been struggling with injury, will now look forward to the World Championships in Barcelona in July.
