13-year-old Plymouth boy bitten in unprovoked attack
Police are investigating an unprovoked assault on a 13-year-old Plymouth boy in the Crownhill area of the city.
The boy was walking home with friends at around 10.20pm on Friday night (26 July) when they were approached by a group of people in Crownhill Road, close to Woodland Fort.
One of the men in the group then punched the boy in the face and bit his arm and back. The boy, from St Budeaux, was able to get away while the offender ran off.
The boy was treated in hospital for the bite marks and was left shaken up by the attack.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault and requesting anyone with information to contact them via 101, quoting crime reference EL/13/3063, or call Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
