Star Fireworks crowned British champions
Star Fireworks from Berkshire have been crowned the 'Champion of Champions' winners of this year's British Firework Championships following a spectacular two-day showdown between the UK's top pyrotechnics specialists on Plymouth Hoe.
Thousands of spectators gathered on and around Plymouth Hoe on Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 August to see tonnes of fireworks set off into the night sky in six spectacular displays.
Star Fireworks display was the first show on Wednesday night. Pendragon Fireworks came second and Selstar came third.
The British Firework Championships are jointly organised by The Event Services Association (TESA) and Plymouth City Council.
Over the two-day championships, three teams competed on each evening:
