Open Day at Greenbank, Plymouth Fire Station

Greenbank residents will have an opportunity to find out more about the work of their local firefighters at the fire station’s community open day.

The event takes place on Saturday 5 October between 10.00am-4.00pm. The fire service has invited the public to go along and learn more about the work they do and how they can help you to improve your fire safety.

The day offers a variety of demonstrations and displays for all the family to enjoy. Lots to see and do – activities to include:

  • Road Traffic Collision demonstrations
  • Line Rescue demos
  • Chip pan fire demos
  • Vintage fire engine display
  • Kids water shoot in fire costume
  • Community Safety, Road Traffic Collision reduction simulator vehicle
  • Bouncy castle
  • Grand prize raffle
  • Community fire safety advice
  • Face painting
  • Refreshments

All proceeds from the event will be divided between ‘Hugs for Henry’ and ‘The Fire Fighter’s Charity’.
