Bright sunshine and an inflatable assault course brought smiles to the faces of guests at the Modus Care fun day.

The annual event, for both service users and support staff, was held in the grounds of Bull Point House, near the Tamar estuary.

Guests enjoyed music, refreshing ice creams and a tasty barbeque, but the major hit of the day was the inflatable assault course that revealed a competitive spirit as everyone raced through the ball pit and posts before climbing up to the final slide for the dash to the finish.

Dan Welch, Senior Registered Manager in charge of Kline House in Plymouth said: “Everyone had a wonderful time. The fun day is a great opportunity for everyone from our residential homes across the region to get together in a relaxed environment.

“We were lucky to have such a sunny day and it was lovely to see so many happy faces.”

Modus Care provides services for people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Aspergers Syndrome, challenging behaviours and other complex needs.

Managing Director Steve Lawson attended the event along with other head office staff.
