Devon Community Foundation awards £60,000 to groups in Plymouth

Devon Community Foundation has awarded £60,000 of Comic Relief funding to two organisations in Plymouth.

The grants have been awarded to Plymouth Pregnancy Crisis Centre, which will use its £30,000 to fund a baby loss support project working with parents who have suffered the loss of their child and are dealing with often crippling emotions, and Special Olympics Plymouth and District who will provide sport activities for adults and children with learning disabilities, helping to build skills and confidence.

Martha Wilkinson from Devon Community Foundation said: “These grants will make a huge difference to people living in the local area. We are delighted to be helping to get even more Comic Relief funding to the communities that need it most.”
