Get Your Sparkle On for NSPCC this Christmas

The NSPCC is encouraging people across Devon and Cornwall to get into the festive spirit and ‘Get Your Sparkle On’ as part of its Christmas campaign.

The children’s charity’s Christmas fundraising initiative asks people to get their friends, family or work colleagues together and sparkle up their outfits, or decorate their faces with eco-glitter.

Meet the Reindeer Experience

Throughout the month of December visitors are invited to come along and meet the European reindeers, Tula and Comet, before they set off to the North Pole to help Santa Claus. With this experience you will even get the chance to stroke, groom, and feed them their favourite food. Price: £30 per person, including zoo entry. Age suitability: 6 years and up. Availability: Must be booked in advance.

The concert will include congregational carols, three beautiful pieces by Edward Elgar, Lux Aeterna, The Snow, and Ave Verum Corpus and, in the second half, a performance of the famous Vivaldi Gloria.

Accompanied by organ and orchestra under the direction of Musical Director Alice Dennis, this will be a delightful seasonal celebration for all.

The Orchestra comprises of students, staff and community members and performs three concerts during the academic year.
