A Devon Freewheeler was lost for words when fraternal organisation the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB) announced the result of their year of fundraising for the charity.
Plymouth Provincial Grand Primo Mick Navesey handed over a cheque for the grand sum of £3,079 to volunteer rider and Operations Director of the Devon Freewheelers, Neil Gardner.
Last year Freya Barlow, a student at the Peninsula Medical School in Plymouth was diagnosed with leukaemia at just 20 years old. Her strength, determination and the support of her friends and family helped her during the six months in isolation at Derriford Hospital and through aggressive chemotherapy.

It is feared that 16-year-old Jordan Cobb from Plymouth drowned after he jumped from Torpoint ferry on New Year's Eve. D espite extensive cross-agency searches and a waning possibility that he will now be found alive, a Facebook page set up by his friends is asking for people to keep hoping. A fundraising page to offer support to his family has so far raised a total of £1,184.
