Museums join forces for prestigious art commission

Plymouth confirmed as an official team base for Rugby World Cup 2015

Plymouth’s sports facilities will be front row next year as the city plays host to one of the competing nations in Rugby World Cup 2015 (RWC 2015).

Dog walker stabbed in Devonport Park

Police are making enquiries following a stabbing incident within Devonport Park, Paradise Road , Plymouth which took place at around 9.40pm on Monday 25 August.

A 32 year-old man was walking his dog when an unknown man approached him in the dark and stabbed him once to the stomach. Although the victim remained in hospital overnight his condition is not considered serious.

Surf boards caused serious crash

Police attended a serious road traffic collision on the A361 North Devon link road on Friday morning, 22nd August, at around 11.30am near South molton.
