Devon Freewheelers Emergency Voluntary Service are the Devon Blood Bikes.
The charity has served the people of Devon since 2009.
The charity is a team of volunteer riders, drivers, call handlers and fundraisers who are dedicated to providing a 24/7 service supporting the NHS to deliver blood and other medical samples for testing, plus medication and patient notes.
The volunteers also deliver medical equipment, tissue samples, donor breast milk to neo natal units, and other essential aid to NHS establishments and patients throughout Devon.
