Local housebuilder encourages Okehampton youngsters to ‘please play here’

A housebuilder in Okehampton is inviting children and their families to a special event to encourage youngsters to play outside more.

Redrow South West is hosting a free event at Romansfield, on Fort Road, from 10am-3pm on Saturday 29 July.

Created to inspire children to play more and encourage residents to connect with each other, the event will give youngsters the opportunity to try a range of classic outdoor games, including giant Jenga, rounders, giant connect four and football. There will also be free ice creams available to the first 60 visitors – a treat not to be missed!
