British Firework Championships 2015
The world famous British Firework Championships is set to return the Plymouth for its 19th showdown in August 2015.
Visitors from all over the world can see the skies light up over Plymouth's spectacular waterfront on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 August.
The Royal Air Force’s world-famous aerobatics team, The Red Arrows, will take to the skies for an exciting, heart-pounding air display this summer.
Residents and visitors to Plymouth will be able to watch as fast jet pilots put on a show to remember. Taking to the air on the second night of the British Firework Championships on Wednesday 19 August they will be displaying their acrobatic talents across the beautiful setting of Plymouth Hoe, the Arrows display will take place at 7pm.
The Twister Aerobatics display team will be wowing crowds with their electrifying pyrotechnic display on the first night of the championships, taking place on Tuesday 18 August. This amazing display will start at approximately 9pm.
The British Firework Championships, held this year on Tuesday 18 & Wednesday 19 August, is one of Britain’s most spectacular firework displays. Jointly organised by The Event Services Association (TESA) and Plymouth City Council, the Championships feature six top pyrotechnics companies who set off four tonnes of fireworks over the Plymouth Waterfront as they battle it out to become the British Firework champion. The firework displays begin an 9.30pm on both nights.
