This eagerly anticipated film focuses on the final two years of Diana's life, when she had separated from the Prince of Wales and had been in relationships with Hasnat Khan and Dodi Fayed, who was also killed in the crash in Paris on August 31, 1997. Directed by German Oliver Hirschbiegel (Downfall) and shot in England, Croatia and India, the film also features Douglas Hodge as royal butler Paul Burrell and Naveen Andrews (The English Patient) as Khan, the British-Pakistani heart and lung surgeon who is said to have been the love of her life.
