Kitley House Hotel holds May Garden Party

A garden party at Kitley House Hotel, near Yealmpton, on May Bank Holiday Monday will mark the hotel's first anniversary under new ownership and its success in the regional finals of an industry award for excellence.

Kitley is throwing open its gates for a celebratory family fun day for the local community just weeks after being named Best Event Venue in the South West in the prestigious Event Entertainment Awards 2019.

Kitley’s beautiful grounds overlook the tranquil Yealm estuary, less than ten miles from Plymouth. The historic, family-run estate provides the ideal setting for a summer celebration outdoors with a wide variety of stalls and exhibitors, live music, local food and drink producers, cream teas on the lawn and a host of fun activities, including a dog show.

The event runs from 11 am – 4 pm. A former manor house, Kitley has for centuries played an important role in the life of the local community and the Garden Party continues that proud tradition.
