Southwest's First LGBTQIA+ Fringe Festival Underway in Exeter
The Southwest's first queer fringe festival is currently in full swing in Exeter, until Sunday 06th October 2024.
We're showcasing queer art and culture, and our biggest events are still to come next week.
Upcoming event highlights include:
-
Morning and Evening shows at Barnfield Theatre Monday 30th Sep - Thursday 04th Oct, showcasing queer comedy or theatre in the first show, and drag or cabaret in the second. (link)
-
Friday 04th October - Live music from Charlieeeee at RAMM museum - queer rising pop star who's been mentored by Fred Again - indie vibe, hyper-pop energy, dash of '00s nostalgia. (link)
-
Saturday 05th October - Drag Race UK star Bimini headlines club night at The Phoenix (DJ Set) - opening with Burlesque performances and hosted by drag artists Arina Fox and Gucci Gaboré. (link)
The launch of our festival this year is an important landmark in our community for LGBTQIA+ representation, celebrating and presenting local and national queer artists.
