'Starman' Premiere

We are proud to invite you to the official premiere of 'Starman', a brand new short film curated by students from Plymouth University. This is a FREE ADMISSION screening.

Since early November 'Starman' has been in working process and now we would like to take this opportunity to present it to you guys. A very special thank you to those who supported us from the very beginning and helped us reach our goal of £1000 via Kickstarter within 25 days. We have had a great amount of public awareness including articles published in our local papers including online magazines, and it doesn't stop just yet!

So, what is 'Starman' about?
'So close to earth, yet so far away, Eric floats through life, his thoughts are his only form of company. That is until Eric comes across Christine, a suicidal young woman who he stops from jumping to her death. As these lonely souls confide within each other, their views aren't so different. Is Eric as lonely as he once thought?'

A message from the director:
I feel very privileged to be working with such talented close friends, who believe in the concepts I want to convey in this short film. My ultimate goal is to develop a piece of work that can connect with someone and hopefully help them feel less lonely in this world. If only one person can emotionally identify with the film, that would be an amazing achievement for me personally. Then I will feel like I have achieved something'.
