Dirty Dusting
Filthy Cleaners Talk Dirty in hilarious smash-hit comedy!
If you’re looking for a way to do some theatrical spring cleaning and dust off the winter blues with a good laugh, then Plymouth-based Gadzooks Theatre Company have got just the thing for you.
“Dirty Dusting”, by Ed Wood and Trevor Waugh, is the hilarious tale of three cleaning women who are going to be made redundant and decide that to get their own back, they set up a sex chat line in the office that they clean. They can make more money in one weekend running the chat line than they can in three months cleaning. Comedy ensues as the women get to grips with being ‘Luscious Lucy’ rather than ‘Elderly Elsie’ and the final comedic blow is struck when their unwitting boss phones in!
Carol Taylor, Chair of Gadzooks, who is also playing the part of Gladys, said “This is such a fun production. It’s perfect for anyone wanting to have a good laugh with friends about some very funny scenarios. We couldn’t help but chuckle all the way through the rehearsals, and it’s bound to keep audiences laughing throughout.”
Gadzooks is well aware that purse-strings are tight in the New Year, so tickets are a bargain £5 - perfect for fun-loving outings with the friends. The performance takes place 13-15 March 2014 at The Muse Theatre which is situated on the Lipson Co-operative Academy campus, Bernice Terrace, PL4 7PG. Each performance starts at 7.30pm.
