This week local Plympton business, SSG Training and Consultancy, are showing their support for PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufactures Association) Tower Safety Week by attempting the mannequin challenge!

A number of team members, directed by SSG PASMA trainer Dave George, worked together to recreate the social media craze.  The mannequin challenge, already carried out by a number of famous faces – from Michelle Obama to footballer Ronaldo, involves a group of people taking part in a short video – but they all appear to be frozen in time like mannequins. SSG built a mobile access tower, and filmed their mannequin challenge around this.  Visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hf8L74NqXtA to view this video.

Britain’s leading mobile tower association PASMA annually runs a campaign; Tower Safety Week, to promote safety at height with the use of mobile access towers.  This year the campaign will run from 14 to 18 November.

As well as the mannequin challenge, SSG have posted several tower selfies and infographics to social media to help spread the word of working smarter and safer at height.
