The Dash Group expands South West presence with new depot

• The delivery firm has taken over the Exeter location to strengthen its presence in the South West and better support local businesses.

• The business is also expanding its workforce and investing in sustainability solutions to enhance its green credentials.

16 June 2025: Dash Express, a division of The Dash Group and part of The APC delivery network – the UK’s largest independent parcel delivery network – has today announced its continued expansion in the South West with the strategic takeover of The APC’s Exeter depot.

Located in Woodbury Business Park, the new 5,500 sq. ft. depot represents a key milestone in The Dash Group’s regional growth strategy. Exeter - widely regarded as the gateway to the South West - bolsters the group’s existing network in Plymouth and Redruth, enabling enhanced regional coverage and improved reach for SMEs across Devon and Cornwall.

The expansion follows sustained growth across The Dash Group’s logistics division and increasing demand from local businesses, also demonstrated by the recent opening of a larger site in Plymouth. Leveraging The APC network’s nationwide reach, Dash Express will help even more local businesses connect with a growing national customer base through its Exeter location.

Building on its investment in the region, Dash Express is already recruiting new staff members at its Exeter location, including a New Business Manager. Further roles are expected to be added as operations expand and the business continues to grow its services in the area.

Looking ahead, The Dash Group plans to relocate its Exeter operations to a new, larger facility to increase capacity, enhance customer experience and support an expanded range of services, including potential growth into same-day delivery and pallet distribution. The business is also planning to introduce EV charging infrastructure and solar panels at its Exeter location, reinforcing the group’s commitment to sustainability and its transition to a lower-carbon fleet and future-ready operations.
