Sunshine joins SunGift!
Aptly named Sarah Sunshine has joined Exeter’s solar PV specialists, SunGift Solar in the newly created role of marketing executive.
Sarah moved from her home country of Zimbabwe in the mid-90s to study and is well equipped for her role at SunGift through achieving an MSc in Digital Marketing from Chichester University.
She says that growing up in Zimbabwe gives her a different perspective on energy generation. “With the political situation there, electricity isn’t freely available. So many people use solar PV to have access to it, there are solar panels on every street.”
Sarah says “It’s the perfect time to join this sector, its growing and I’ll be growing with it. There’s a real feel-good factor about working towards making a difference to the environment.”
Before moving to Devon, Sarah and her family lived in West Sussex where she worked as marketing officer for Chichester Humanists. As well her upbringing in Africa, she has lived in several countries including Spain where she ran a gift shop and Gibraltar where she worked for a cancer charity.
SunGift has recently been shortlisted in two categories in the Western Morning News Business Awards, and two in the inaugural Exeter Property Awards.
