Karley Khan, 25, from Plymouth has taken up the challenge of skydiving from 15,000ft dressed as a monkey to raise money for local charity Wild Futures.

Karley, along with her fellow jumpers, is hoping to raise £395 by 1 March so Wild Futures can continue to rescue and protect primates and their habitats worldwide.

Karley said: "I decided to take part in this challenge for Wild Futures because they are a UK charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and protecting monkeys from the pet trade, and promoting the conservation of the world’s rainforests.

"It will be a scary and exciting challenge, but it’s great to know that I will be raising funds to help support an amazing charity that is a leader in the field of primate welfare and conservation, environmental education, and sustainable practice.

"Wild Futures receives no government funding and relies solely on donations to fund its work. There is a growing need for funds to help rescue more monkeys, but at the same time to campaign to end primates as pets and also support projects in the wild. We need your help to continue with this vital work."

To sponsor Karley please text KKWF70 followed by an amount (£1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10) to 70070 or donate online at http://www.justgiving.com/Karley-Khan
