Celebrate favourite children’s stories this half term

Plymouth libraries will be hosting free story and craft sessions for five to 11-year-olds this half term holiday, celebrating classic children’s books.

Staff will share stories including the tale of Pinocchio and his growing nose, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Alice in Wonderland and Jack’s adventures up the beanstalk.

New research conducted by Cadburys has revealed that children of Plymouth are more likely to see celebrities such as Ant and Dec and Joey Essex as explorers than Sir David Attenborough and Christopher Columbus.
