Hello Summer Cider Festival

Plymouth's ‘Hello Summer’ Cider Festival promises to ‘squeeze’ a little something in for everyone!

Following the roaring success of the ‘Summer’s End’ Cider Festival last year, another family friendly Cider Festival kicks off summer this Bank Holiday Sunday 3rd May at Plymouth Pavilions!

There will be a huge selection of Ciders and Perries on offer for the connoisseurs from only the best English and local brands including Wiltshire’s Black Rat, Cornish Orchards, Westons from Herefordshire, Somerset’s mighty Orchard Pig and our very own Devonshire Sandfords!  Seen a few you’d like to try? Well we’ve got tasty prices for our tasty ciders - with a half from £1.80 and a pint from £3.60 our range is ripe for sampling!

There’ll be an awesome selection of live music playing throughout the day - organisers have been on the search for local talent with a Take Centre Stage social media competition! The entries have been coming in thick and fast and the live music line up is now being  finalising!  They’ll be serenading you into the evening to get your cider glasses a’clinking!

There will also be a mouthwatering variety of gourmet food offerings to keep those tummy rumbles at bay, including traditional hotdogs and paella from the rustic and hearty Sausage & Pear, a hog roast and specialist burgers from the scrumptious South Devon Hog Roast, and tasty wraps and sandwiches from Edmond Davari’s World Food Café!

There’ll be plenty for the kids too!  With a whole assortment of fun activities including paper crafts with Plymouth’s Creative Designer and two time British card designer of the year nominee Katie Skilton, who you may have seen on Create and Craft TV! She’ll be demonstrating and teaching her beautiful papercraft designs for you to make and take home.  We’re thrilled that Jack’s Mobile Zoo will be back with an awesome variety of cute, fluffy critters and some seriously creepy crawlies to meet! And when it’s time for a bit of a sit down, no one’s left out as the kids can pull up a chair and feel all grown up at our Little Pip’s refreshing Juice Bar!

With free entry for all and heaps of undercover family fun to be had, the Hello Summer Cider Festival promises a whole day of frolics that you and the family can enjoy come rain or shine!
