The Devon County Show 2024 saw a jam-packed agenda at local Isuzu dealer, Ashburton Motor Work’s stand. Its latest partnership with DevonAir Radio, and sponsorship of the event’s Show Jumping competition typified an activity-laden three days in May for the Pick-Up Professionals.

Additionally, the dealer showcased its latest partnership with Devon Air Radio with a striking D-Max DL40, complete with the local radio station’s branding across the vehicle. The ‘DevonAir D-Max’ was handed over to the radio station’s very own, Ben Clark live at the event. Attendees were also treated to free DevonAir Radio car stickers, whereby participants entered a draw to be in the chance of winning £50 worth of free fuel.

Exhibiting a selection of Isuzu D-Max pick-ups across the range, including the latest limited V-Cross STEEL Edition, Isuzu UK were the recipients of the Devon County Show’s ‘Most Attractive Motor Dealer Exhibit’.

Isuzu UK were also sponsors of the show jumping event, with Ashburton Motor Works Staff member Jamie O’Brien invited to hand over the Trophy and Rosettes to the winners.

Commenting on the event, O’Brien stated: “It has been another fantastic year at the Devon County Show, and being able to get heavily involved with DevonAir Radio and the Show Jumping event were notable highlights for us. Fostering relationships with our customers is essential to us and we thoroughly enjoyed speaking to guests at the show. We look forward to welcoming them to our fantastic dealership.”

Regional Sales Manager at Isuzu UK, Graham Joll, said: “Ashburton Isuzu really put on a show for guests with its involvement with DevonAir radio and engaging stand. Events like the Devon County Show demonstrates why this dealer has such a strong reputation within the local community.”

Established in 1921, Ashburton Motor Works is one of the longest-standing Isuzu dealers having joined the Pick-Up Professionals in 1993. One of the fundamental pillars of the dealership has been making a difference within its community. Most notably, the dealer has continued its long-term support for Dartmoor National Park, recently providing three Isuzu D-Max pick-ups to support the park’s essential operations.
