A great time was had on Saturday 12 December, with 132 dancers attending what was Wally’s Dance Party’s last dance at City College Plymouth.

An evening of ballroom and sequence dancing, plus a raffle, raised £1000 for the South West Mesothelioma Support Group, every penny of which will be going to the charity, thanks to the generosity of Plymouth solicitors Novum Law who generously sponsored the dance.

Wally Wright would like to extend his thanks to the sponsors and to all those who helped set up and run the dance and raffle. Also, all those who attended and supported the event for this very worthwhile charity.

For anybody who has been affected by Mesothelioma, which is an asbestos related cancer, support is available at The Mustard Tree at Derriford Hospital and through meetings held on a monthly basis at The Copthorne Hotel in Plymouth.

For further information about the meetings or the charity, please contact Wally on 01752 601750.
