Citybus withdraws four school services in Plymouth
Plymouth Citybus has announced the withdrawal of four of its school route services in the city. The scrapping of bus routes 104, 109, 115 and 142 will take effect from 3 November and has been put down to the high cost of providing subsidised services which are not commercially viable.
The company says that Plymouth pupils will still be able to use the regular bus services.
One new combined service will be introduced from the same date which will, in part, replace the 109 and 115 routes. Service 103 will operate from Plympton to Notre Dame School.
Timetables and route maps for the services commencing from the 3 November will be available from the Citybus Travel Centre from the middle of October and on their website from the 7 October 2013. Timetables are also available to view now at www.traveline.org.uk.
