Plymouth Citybus has announced the withdrawal of four of its school route services in the city. The scrapping of bus routes 104, 109, 115 and 142 will take effect from 3 November and has been put down to the high cost of providing subsidised services which are not commercially viable.
The company says that Plymouth pupils will still be able to use the regular bus services.
This is Catch The Bus Week, a national effort to encourage bus usage in place of the car.
