Cridfest is Back!
Cridfest, the all-day music event, is returning to The Cridford Inn on Saturday August 26th.
Recognised to be the oldest pub in Devon and possibly the oldest in England, The Cridford Inn provides a truly unique venue for the event which starts at 12pm and will go on until late in the evening.
There will be live music throughout the day plus crafty stalls, a photo booth, festival-style BBQ and street food from our very own chefs, kids zone to keep the kids happy and much more! Camping and free parking will also be available, served by a free Shuttle service service to and from the Inn.
Music will be provided by Anaïs Hélène, Southern Fried Groove Queens, Rob Hunt and Spin 2 and, of course, there will be a well-stocked bar available throughout.
“We received such positive feedback from Cridfest last year that we have had to aim even higher this year,” said Paul Moir, owner, “so we have put together a truly exciting choice of music, stall and fun activities for Cridfest 2023 that we hope even more people will find interesting an appealing.”
The history of The Cridford Inn, in the Devon village of Trusham, can be traced back to 825 AD and there is a comprehensive summary of the owners and use of the building since that time on the Inn’s website. Hence the building itself provides an interesting additional feature for Cridfest.
More details on the long and fascinating history of the building that is now The Cridford Inn can be found at thecridfordinn.co.uk.
