Cyclist injured in collision with van

A cyclist has been taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a van in Plymouth this morning (Tuesday 20 August).

The incident happened around 8.40am on Cot Hill, Plympton St Mary, outside National Tyres.

The cyclist is believed to have head and back injuries and has been taken to hospital by ambulance.

The 35-year-old man driving the red Leyland Daf van, registered to Plymouth, is not believed to be injured.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 174 of 20/08/13.
