Firefighters attend to van found alight with petrol generator on board
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue reports that it was called out to a van on fire in Belgrave Road, Mutley, Plymouth on Friday morning (6 September) after receiving several emergency calls.
A fire engine from Greenbank station was sent to the incident where the crew confirmed a van was well alight with a petrol generator on board.
Crews got to work fighting the fire using two sets of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.
The Fire Service confirms that the fire is now out and that the cause was accidental.
