It's ‘muttley’ love for devoted doggy duo

Staff at Dogs Trust Ilfracombe are on the lookout for a special family that will open their hearts and their home to a devoted doggy duo who have lived together all their lives.

As we approach the most romantic day of the year, the team are hoping that after finding themselves at the West Down-based rehoming centre through no fault of their own, love will be in the air for eight-year-old Terrier, Jiggy, and nine-year-old Collie, Chips, who are devoted to one another and are looking for a loving partner of the human variety who can offer them a home together.

Elise Watson, Manager at Dogs Trust Ilfracombe, says:
“Jiggy and Chips are inseparable and they spend their days enjoying romantic walks together and playing fetch whilst they await their forever home. We’re hoping they will find their special someone just in time for Valentine’s Day. They really are the best of friends and would make a wonderful addition to the right family home.”

This doggy duo are hoping someone will love them ‘droolly’, madly, deeply and rehome them as a pair for Valentine’s Day.

Elise adds: “Their ideal fresh start will be with an active family of dog lovers who enjoy getting out and about and exploring new places. They have lived with children and cats previously so could possibly live with them again depending on compatibility during introductions at the centre.

“They would be a great addition to any family and we really do hope that someone falls for them this Valentine’s Day.”
