Police appeal following theft of power tools from city DIY store

Police in Plymouth are appealing for the public’s help to identify a woman suspected of stealing power tools from a DIY store in the city.

Some time between 7pm and 7.25pm on Tuesday 23 July 2013, the woman was seen in the Homebase store on Montpelier Road.

Staff at the store challenged the woman before she left, but she still escaped with around £300 of Stanley power drills.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the theft, may recognise the woman or might have been offered the stolen power tools for sale.
