Two new showhomes now open at Bellway development in Willand
Bellway has unveiled two new showhomes at its Fox Mill Gardens development in Willand.
The developer opened the doors to the two new properties – a three-bedroom Mason and a four-bedroom Cartwright – on Saturday 19 August.
To celebrate the launch at the development, off Meadow Park, the housebuilder hired local company Bonne Bouche to provide free homemade waffles and ice cream to visitors.
Tim Lund, Sales Director for Bellway South West, said: “These two showhomes represent the practical layouts and thoughtful designs which come with new-build Bellway homes.
“The stylish Mason showhome features an open-plan kitchen and a dining area, with French doors to the back garden, which is separate from the living room. This house, which is perfect for a young family or couple who need space for a home office, includes a modern family bathroom as well as an en suite in one of its three bedrooms.
“The elegant Cartwright provides a home for a growing family who require flexible living space over three storeys. There is a dual-aspect living room and an open-plan kitchen/dining room downstairs, with two bedrooms, one with an en suite, and a family bathroom on the first floor. The top floor is ideal as a teenage zone with its two bedrooms served by a shower room.
“When people walk around these showhomes they will get a first-hand experience of the high-quality finish they can expect in our properties. All of the properties on this development are from Bellway’s Artisan Collection – a range of homes which was created after years of customer feedback and combines traditional craftsmanship with modern building techniques.”
Bellway South West is building 125 new homes at Fox Mill Gardens, with the site featuring 81 houses for private sale and 44 affordable properties available for local people through low-cost rent and shared ownership.
As part of the planning agreement for Fox Mill Gardens, Bellway is to contribute more than £532,000 towards infrastructure and services including £250,000 for Willand School, £125,000 for off-site open space, £100,000 for public transport, and £52,500 for community healthcare.
Tim said: “The main attraction of Fox Mill Gardens for many is the peaceful village location, which sits right in the heart of one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Residents will find themselves just 20 miles from the Devon coast and with the opportunity to explore the nearby Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Exmoor National Park.
“People needing to access the wider region are well served by the M5, which can be reached at two junctions – both within three miles.
“The development is just under three miles away from the neighbouring town of Cullompton where there are well regarded primary and secondary schools in the area as well as local amenities including Mole Valley Farmers store offering home and garden equipment as well as clothing and footwear. Exeter city centre is 30 minutes away by car which is ideal for residents who commute to work or want to take a day trip out with their family and friends.”
There is currently a choice of three and four-bedroom new homes available to reserve at Fox Mill Gardens, with prices starting at £324,995 and £472,500 respectively.
