Devils aim to upset Rebels

PLYMOUTH Skills Group Devils gear up for back to back League Cup meetings with local rivals  Somerset Cases Rebels this Good Friday and Saturday.  Good Friday's meeting will be away at the Oak Tree Arena meeting starts at 7.30pm, writes Tim Locke.
   
This will be the first chance for supporters to see the new look Devils side due to the cancellation of the Spring Classic Individual meeting last Friday.  Former Devil, and american star Ryan Fisher will make a return to Plymouth this season, he last rode for the Devils in 2012 and will ride at number one this season.

Australian Rusty Harrison will guest for Kyle Newman as he will be riding in the Elite League for Poole Pirates. 

Devils Captain for this meeting will be Danish star Morten Risager.  Ashley Morris will also be missing for the Good Friday trip as he will be on Elite League duty with Kings Lynn Stars.  Guesting for Morris will be Newcastle's Simon Nielsen.

It was previously announced that Matt Bates would guest for Sam Chapman but it was confirmed on Wednesday that Chapman will now take his place in the Devils line up at reserve. 

Somerset expect to be at full strength for this meeting with the return of injured Charles Wright who suffered a dislocated finger in last Fridays friendly against Poole at the Oak Tree Arena. 

Former Devils favourite Paul Starke is included once again for the Rebels after a successful 2014 campaign. 

Rebels new team captain and former rider, Australian Josh Grajczonek returns for another season with the Rebels, he last rode for them in their league championship winning side of 2013.  New blood in the Rebels squad this season see's former Arena Essex and Newport legend Leigh Lanham drafted in along with Ritchie Worrall, Benji Compton and Brady Kurtz.

The St Boniface Arena home meeting will be the following evening of Saturday 4th April with a start time of 7.15pm  Plymouth Skills Group Devils will be at full strength for this meeting.
