Plympton St Maurice pub shortlisted in Ei Group Awards for Excellence
The Brook Inn at Plympton St Maurice has been shortlisted in the BEST COMMUNITY HUB category at the Ei Group Awards for Excellence.
This year’s inaugural Ei Group Awards for Excellence aims to recognise the achievements of all types of Ei Group’s operators from all around the country. The awards will highlight the accomplishments of some of the most innovative and successful publicans across a number of categories.
The pub’s entry will now be judged by a panel of experts from across the industry who will decide from the six shortlisted pubs, which will make the final three. The final three pubs will then be invited to Coombe Abbey for a gala awards ceremony where a category winner and two runners-up will be announced.
The Brook Inn’s landlord, John Govier, said: “We’re delighted to be shortlisted from such a big national field of entries, it is testament to all the hard work and effort the team has put in over the past four years to position The Brook at the heart of the local community. Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed that we are successful in the final selection.”
