Agents target property buyers in London and the southeast

The southwest is the most popular destination for Londoners moving out of the city, after its neighbouring east and southeast regions. To directly reach these buyers, a group of local estate agents will be showcasing their properties at the next Westcountry Property Exhibition in the heart of the city next week.

The southwest has long been a firm favourite for Londoners seeking a more relaxed lifestyle. In recent years, a greater desire for a stronger sense of community has emerged and now, with the huge shift towards flexible, remote and hybrid working arrangements, the prospect of moving to a new home with more space for the family within a friendly, active community, is more realistic than ever.

Members of the Experts in Property – all well-known and highly reputed, independent estate agency offices spread throughout Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Bristol – will be seizing this timely opportunity to exhibit their complete portfolio of homes for sale at the exhibition, which is expected to attract buyers from all walks of life with an interest in a wide and varied range of property.

Daily, the estate agencies within the network collaborate to provide exceptional, unrivalled marketing power for their properties, to reach more buyers. This combined approach encompasses in-office, online, in print via its exclusive Distinctly Westcountry service, and through regular events. Previous exhibitions in the capital have seen visitors from across the southeast, the south coast and the Home Counties, all either thinking about or actively looking to buy a new home in the southwest.

Andrew Simmonds, chairman of the Experts in Property network, said: “The internet – via websites, portals and social media – is a great tool for marketing properties to buyers throughout the country and abroad, but there is no substitute for human interaction.

“There is great value in personal contact, particularly when we’re talking about someone’s biggest and most prized possession, their home. Going directly to our target audience in-person enables us to really engage with potential buyers, go into greater depth with the conversation to answer their questions, get a firm understanding of their needs and preferences, and to successfully match these to specific places and properties.”

The Westcountry Property Exhibition takes place on Thursday 10th October at The Mitre, which sits on the banks of the River Thames next to Hampton Court Palace. The boutique hotel is easily accessible by car, train, on foot and by riverboat.

Properties on the market with all members of the Experts in Property before that date will feature in the exhibition. So, if you’re thinking of selling, get in touch with your local office and make sure your property is included. To find your nearest branch, look for the house and tick logo on your high street or see the Agents Directory at www.theexpertsinproperty.co.uk. It’s possible you could be moved by Christmas!
