Fire fighters called to flat fire in Millbridge

Two fire appliances from Greenbank station attended a fire in a flat in St Barnabus Terrace, Millbridge, Plymouth, in the early hours of Monday morning (23 September 2013).

The incident was attended to at approximately 1am; on arrival crews found a fire within a bedroom of the flat. They exinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus wearers, one hose reel jet and one safety jet and one positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the property of smoke.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue report that the cause of the fire was accidental and all persons were accounted for.
