Body found in search for missing man

Police searching for missing 55-year-old Christopher Barrow have found the body of a man in Swimbridge.

The body, which was discovered yesterday (Wednesday) has not yet been identified, but Mr Barrow's family have been informed.

Police in Barnstaple are appealing for witnesses after a 37-year-old local woman was sexually assaulted in the town.

Local police report that the incident took place between 1930 and 2030 hours on Wednesday, 5 June 2013 on Castle Mound, Barnstaple.
