Plymouth is launching its investment guide to tell the world why Britain’s Ocean City is the perfect place to invest.
The guide is a snap-shot of why businesses should look at Plymouth and is being launched with a bang at the British Fireworks Championships which attracts thousands of people to the city’s stunning waterfront.

Following the city’s rebranding to become ‘Britain’s Ocean City’ earlier this year, Plymouth is set to host the now renamed Ocean City Festival from 9 – 22 September 2013 which will take place in a range of venues across the city including The Barbican, Sutton Harbour, The Hoe, Plymouth University and the Royal William Yard.

Plymouth has become the first city in the country to use a new style of welcome sign on its key routes into the city, featuring a large, full-colour picture of a local, iconic landmark.
The new signs were unveiled today and now drivers entering Plymouth on the A38 will be welcomed by the image of Plymouth Hoe, showing Smeaton’s Tower against a backdrop of Plymouth Sound.
