A Plymouth dentist is urging residents to register for NHS dental treatment after experiencing a surge in patients who had not seen a dentist for 10 years or more.
The appeal was made after it was revealed by the British Dental Health Foundation (BDHF) that people who visit the dentist annually reduce their risk of tooth decay by 60 per cent.
