On Sunday 29 September, visitors to Saltram, near Plympton, can enjoy the change of seasons by celebrating Michaelmas; the coming of autumn and the shortening of days.
Join staff and volunteers in their harvest celebrations in the Stable Courtyard – pressing the masses of apples picked from the orchards and sampling freshly made apple juice and homemade cider.
Then, either take a seat on a hay bail or wander amongst local traditional craft stalls; chat to Saltram’s allotment holders or enjoy a hog roast. Entertainment will be provided by the Dartington Morris Men and Dixie...
