A man has been charged with murder following the death of a 38-year-old in Plymouth.
Police and ambulance were called to a property in King Street, Stonehouse, on Friday (3 January) after concerns were raised for the welfare for a man inside.
On entering the property they found a 38-year-old man who had sustained a serious stab wound.
David Wilder, 41, of no fixed abode, was charged with murdering 36-year-old Kerry Power when he appeared before Plymouth Magistrates Court this morning.

The marine, a sergeant who can be known only as Marine A, faces a mandatory life sentence for the shooting of the unknown man in what the prosecution described as "an execution", in Helmand Province in Afghanistan.
Alexander Channer, 54, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Colin Payne.
