A 12-year-old Devon local has been named a finalist for the 2022 Just Giving Awards after raising hundreds of thousands of pounds in memory of his friend.
Max Woosey, who tragically lost his friend and neighbour, Rick, to cancer, has raised over £600,000 for the North Devon Hospice after it provided his friend with end of life care.
This year the Freemasons, as part of their annual support of Hospices throughout the country Assistant Provincial Grand Master of Devonshire W. Bro. Charles Yelland presented a certificate denoting the £1385 given by the Devonshire Freemasons and the Masonic Charitable Foundation to Kate Kilburn of the North Devon Hospice, Barnstaple.
