A group of Devon based comedians will host an evening of free comedy in Plymouth this month as part of a new regular night.

The new coalition of comics are hosting free shows across the South West under the banner 'The Comedy Avengers' and it will include a monthly show at The Fortescue pub in Plymouth on the fourth Thursday of every month.

The comics, who perform nationwide on the professional circuit and have won a number of awards between them, offer a variety of styles including props, one liners and musical comedy as well as straightforward stand up.
