Police continue investigation into factory death of Slovenian worker

Police report that the 22-year-old Slovenian man who died after an industrial accident at the Interfish factory in Wallsend Industrial Estate, Plymouth has yet to be formally identified, although officers have met with his family.

Missing Eggbuckland woman found safe and well

A woman who went missing from the Eggbuckland area of Plymouth has been found safe and well in London.

Jeanette Wood, 52, was reported missing by police at the weekend; her family had not seen her for about ten days and were concerned because she had not made any contact with them, which was considered to be out of character.

2013 Plymouth in Bloom gold, silver and bronze winners announced

Dozens of gardening enthusiasts from across Plymouth have scooped gold, silver and bronze awards at the 2013 Plymouth in Bloom ceremony.

There will be spooky fun for families in North Prospect at the Books and Beast event.

Bug hunting, mask making and spooky stories are being organised by Plymouth City Council Neighbourhood Regeneration Team with the Library Service.

Children can dress up in their scariest costumes and come along from 1pm to 3pm on Tuesday 29 October at North Prospect library. Recycled materials will be available to make 3D masks, children can hunt for autumn bugs and ready scary stories at the pre-Halloween party.

Plymouth residents asked to report bonfire stockpiles

Plymouth residents are being urged to report any stockpiles that are appearing in their neighbourhoods ahead of Bonfire Night.
