A welcome return to the Old Chapel for our local jazz duo Peter (piano) & Li (clarinet and sax) who are now a trio! They will be accompanying their guest singer Marianne. In addition to the well known and much loved jazz standards they will also present three new numbers that they each composed and performed for the “New Songs Jazz Café” during the successful 2012 Calstock Jazz and Blues Festival.

Rising star Gabrielle Ducomble brings her sophisticated Gallic style to the UK jazz scene. With a range of styles from contemporary jazz to French popular song, she has performed in some of the UK’s leading jazz venues and is receiving much airplay on JazzFM.
Performing in English and her native French, her set will include tracks from her recent album “J’ai Deux Amours”, as well as giving a fresh interpretation to classic songs by Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Astor Piazzolla, as well as the great American songbook.
