Police officers from South Hams are cracking down on the use of drugs in pubs by carrying out random tests using specially trained dogs.

They made unannounced visits to a number of pubs in Totnes and Dartmouth and had the full support of the licensees.

The operation resulted in a number of searches and one individual was issued with a Cannabis warning.

Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed that nine men have been arrested in a series of raids this week as part of an investigation into indecent images of children named Operation Cosford.
