Manchester United have confirmed Everton boss David Moyes as their new manager, replacing the retiring Sir Alex Ferguson in the summer.
Everton released a statement on their website earlier today (Thursday 9 May) confirming Moyes would be leaving the club at the end of the season and registered their thanks to him, calling him "an outstanding manager".
Often described as the greatest manager the British game has seen, Sir Alex Ferguson will retire at the end of the season at the age of 71, after 55 years in football as a player and manager.
