The ride begins with the water taxi from Mount Batten to The Barbican, taking in the stunning views along Plymouth Hoe, and then back along Notte Street.
The route then proceeds to skirt the northern edge of Sutton Harbour before proceeding along Sutton Road to link up with the South West Coast Path.
The route then crosses the River Plym via Laira Bridge, availing of the cycle path all the way to Radford/Hooe Lakes.
After crossing the dam, the route continues along a tree-lined dirt path until it emerges in the Hooe area of the city.
