The Christmas Exhibition

The English Artist is looking forward to hosting their first Christmas Exhibition which will be brimming with beautiful pieces chosen from their resident artists. It is starting on Saturday, 16th November and will be on throughout December.

The exhibition will include bespoke glassware for the table, vases and also more sculptural pieces by Phil Atril , Bob Crooks , Graeme Hawes and Erica Poyser . Hand thrown ceramic bowls, mugs and jugs by Michael Taylor , decorated earthenware by RAMP , porcelain by Anna Silverton and new sculptures by Craig Underhill .

Get Fresh ’17 - new SouthWest designer-makers

Get Fresh is a biennial exhibition held at Devon Guild gallery - this year showing work by 15 new and emerging designer-makers from the South West. The exhibition reveals a diversity of approach to materials and the design process, whilst also providing a debut platform for exciting new work in craft. Police in Plymouth are appealing for information following a burglary.

A burglary took place at a property on Mutley Road, Mannamead, Plymouth, between 1pm and 2pm on Monday 7 November 2016.

The property has been entered through a rear window and the offender/s have taken a large amount of jewellery.
